1017 WHAT IS TRUTH…FAITHFULNESS IS

 

Bible: Yochanan (Jn) 18:33-38 What is truth?

 

SYNOPSIS: In the world we live in today, most everyone has their own truth. From politics to so sad even religion everyone has their own truth. The gentile Governor Pilot even said to YESHUA after being told what was truth, he said “what is truth.” Today we are going to study biblical, Kingdom truth. How does faithfulness and truth go hand in hand? How does that faithfulness play into if you get a room at the FATHER’S HOUSE?

Joh 18:38  Pilate asked him, "What is truth?" Having said this, Pilate went outside again to the Judeans and told them, "I don't find any case against him. 

 

TRUTH: G225 ἀλήθεια alētheia Thayer Definition: 1) what is true in any matter under consideration 2) what is true in things appertaining to God and the duties of man, moral and religious truth

Luke 12:42-46 ELOHIM will not put you in charge if you are not keeping HIS days

Luk 12:42  The Lord replied, "Nu, who is the faithful and sensible manager whose master puts him in charge of the household staff to give them their share of food at the proper time?

Psalm 119:142-144 your Torah is truth.

Psa 119:142  Your righteousness is eternal righteousness, and your Torah is truth. Psa 119:143  Trouble and distress have overtaken me, but your mitzvot are my delight. Psa 119:144  Your instruction is righteous forever; give me understanding, and I will live. 

 

Psalm 119:157-160 I look at traitors with disgust.

Psa 119:157  Although my persecutors and foes are many, I have not turned away from your instruction. 

Psa 119:158  I look at traitors with disgust, because they don't keep your word. 

Psa 119:159  See how I love your precepts, YEHOVAH; in keeping with your grace, revive me. 

Psa 119:160  The main thing about your word is that it's true; and all your just rulings last forever. 

 

Mattiyahu (Mat) 5:18 last forever.

Mat 5:18  Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud ( י ) or a stroke will pass from the Torah—not until everything that must happen has happened. 

 

Galatians 5:22-23 what is a fruit.

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 

Gal 5:23  humility, self control. Nothing in the Torah stands against such things. 

 

1 Tim 6:10-12 pursue the truth.

1Ti 6:10  For the love of money is a root of all the evils; because of this craving, some people have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves to the heart with many pains. 

1Ti 6:11  But you, as a man of God, flee from these things; and pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, steadfastness, gentleness. 

1Ti 6:12  Fight the good fight of the faith, take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you testified so well to your faith before many witnesses.
