Scripture: 1 Chronicles 27:9 LOFR for sixth month.  

SYNOPSIS: We just entered the 6^th biblical month. This is now a very important 40 day period. Why is it so important? We are going to study the 4 times in the bible the sixth month is mentioned. Why are these 4 times so important? 4 topics; the military, leaving HIS house, the priesthood and the virgin. 

VERSES: 1 Chronicles 27:9 LOFR for sixth month. Ezekiel (Eze) 8:1-18Abominations in the Temple. Hagai 1:1-15 the 6^th month. Luke 1:26-27 the word was given.

 

 

1 Chronicles 27:9 LOFR for sixth month.

1Ch 27:9  The sixth commander, for the sixth month, was `Ira the son of `Ikesh from T'koa; there were 24,000 in his division. 

 

1 chronicles 27:1

1Ch 27:1  The people of Isra'el, registered according to their clan leaders, were drafted for army duty under captains of thousands and of hundreds, and officers serving the king, in divisions of 24,000 each, for month-long terms of duty covering all the months of the year. 

 

Ref. Lev 19:2  "Speak to the entire community of Isra'el; tell them, 'You people are to be holy because I, YEHOVAH your God, am holy.

T’KOA: H8621 תּקעי / תּקועי teqô‛ı̂y BDB Definition: Tekoite = see Tekoa “trumpet blast”

 

Ezekiel (Eze) 8:1-18Abominations in the Temple.

Eze 8:1  On the fifth day of the sixth month of the sixth year, as I was sitting in my house, and the leaders of Y'hudah were sitting there with me, the hand of YEHOVAH Elohim fell on me.

INDIGNATION/JEALOUSY: H7068 קנאה qin'âh BDB Definition: 1) ardor, zeal, jealousy 2) jealousy, jealous disposition (of husband) 3) sexual passion 4) ardor of zeal (of religious zeal) 5) ardor of anger, of men against adversaries 6) of God against men 7e) jealousy (resulting in the wrath of God)

 

The word "ardor" in English means: Intensity of emotion, especially strong desire, enthusiasm, or devotion

 

Eze 8:5-6 

 

DISGUSTING/ABOMINATIONS: H8441 תּעבה / תּועבה tô‛êbah BDB Definition: 1) a disgusting thing, abomination, abominable 2) in ritual sense (of unclean food, idols, mixed marriages) 3) in ethical sense (of wickedness etc)

Luk 1:27  to a virgin engaged to a man named Yosef, of the house of David; the virgin's name was Miryam.
