788 GOD’S TRUTHS ALWAYS WIN IN THE END

 

Scripture: Yesha’yahu (Isa) 45:1-13

 

SYNOPSIS: Isa 45:9 Woe to anyone who argues with his maker…Our HaShabbat lesson centers on this thought, ELOHIM’S truths always win out. YEHOVAH may for a time allow satan to look like he is winning. YEHOVAH uses satan’s evil and satan’s hatred for people as a tool. For when YEHOVAH’S children wonder away. When they disregard HIS mitzvot and regulations. When HIS children MEANING all people Jew & Gentile desire to be more at the house of secular prostitution, then at the house of ELOHIM in spirit and truth. Then YEHOVAH allows satan to roam. But in the end YEHOVAH and HIS words always win. So this HaShabbat lesson will ask the question; are you one of those who argues with his MAKER AND THE WORD?

He will say of Yerushalayim, "You will be rebuilt," and of the temple, "Your foundation will be laid." ' " . Cyrus, he is my shepherd,.... Or Coresh, as his name in the Hebrew language is; and in the Persian tongue signifies the "sun"; from whence he had his name.

Theudas - This was a name quite common among the Jews. Of this man nothing more is known than is here recorded. Josephus (Antiq., book 20, chapter 5) mentions one “Theudas,” in the time of “Fadus,” the procurator of Judea, in the reign of the Emperor Claudius, who persuaded a great part of the people to take their effects with them and follow him to the river Jordan. He told them he was a prophet, and that he would divide the river and lead them over. Fadus, however, came suddenly upon them, and slew many of them. Theudas was taken alive and conveyed to Jerusalem, and there beheaded.

After this man rose up, Judas of Galilee,.... Of whom Josephus thus says: "there was a man of Galilee, by name Judas, who led his countrymen into rebellion, declaring it an evil, should they suffer tribute to be paid to the Romans, and introduce mortal rulers after God.''

And not unlike this is what another Jewish writer says of Judas the Galilean, and his party: "these were the cause of the Jews rebelling against the Romans, for they said, it was not fit that any should rule over men but God alone; and that no one should be called Lord, but the blessed God.''

And this insurrection was "in the days of the taxing"; which was made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria;

 

Act 5:38-39

Yesha’yahu (Isa) 43:11-13 No one can deliver from my hand.

Isa 43:11  I, yes I, am YEHOVAH; besides me there is no deliverer. Isa 43:12  I have declared, saved and proclaimed—not some alien god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses," says YEHOVAH. "I am God. 

Isa 43:13  Since days began, I have been he. No one can deliver from my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?"
