831 A LIFELONG COMMITMENT

 

Scripture: Psalm 37:1-6 Commit your way to YEHOVAH.

 

SYNOPSIS: What does true commitment look like physically and spiritually? Today’s HaShabbat lesson is all about a lifelong commitment. A commitment that may cost you everything, maybe even your life. Commitment has everything to do with the definition of the “way”. Are you part of the bride of MESSIAH? Have your hands touched the plow but you keep looking back? Psalm 37:3-5 he will give you your heart's desire.

Psa 37:3  Trust in YEHOVAH, and do good; settle in the land, and feed on faithfulness. 

Psa 37:4  Then you will delight yourself in YEHOVAH, and he will give you your heart's desire. 

Psa 37:5  Commit your way to YEHOVAH; trust in him, and he will act.

Mishal (Prov) 16:3 commit your work to the Lord.

Pro 16:3  If you entrust all you do to YEHOVAH, your plans will achieve success.

PLANS: H4284 מחשׁבת / מחשׁבה machăshâbâh / machăshebeth BDB Definition: 1) thought, device 2) plan, purpose, invention

 

Luke 9:60-62 No one who puts his hand to the plow and keeps looking back.

Luk 9:62  To him Yeshua said, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and keeps looking back is fit to serve in the Kingdom of God." 

 

 

2 Timothy 4:3-7 I have kept the faith.

For the love of HIS FATHER HE was committed to HIS last words

 

For the love of HIS bride HE was committed to the end

 

Love and commitment held HIM to the cross

 

True commitment is shown by a person actions in good times and bad

 

True commitment is shown by a person actions in sickness and in health

 

True commitment is shown by a person actions in being rich or poor

 

True commitment is shown by a person actions in keeping your vows no matter what the cost

 

True commitment is shown by a person actions in finishing the race!!!
