936 World Changing Events

 

Scripture: Sh’mot (Ex) 12:1-4 we know when this is.

 

SYNOPSIS: For today’s study of the WORD we are going to look at biblical world changing events. From big nation wide events to individual events. How an event could involve just two people but still touch all eternity. We are going to look at our individual role in these world changing examples. We are going to see how a great shout changed the lives of over 2,500 people. Are you ready for the world changing event heading this way?

 

HASHABBAT LESSON: YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. Sh’mot (Ex) 12:1-4 we know when this is. Sh’mot (Ex) 12:6-17 kills the 1^st born. Mattiyahu (Mat) 26:19-21 when evening came. Mattiyahu (Mat) 26:26-31 the 15^th day for it has turned to night. Mattiyahu (Mat) 26:69-74 a personal world changing event.  Mattiyahu (Mat) 27:15-17 the choice for all. Mattiyahu (Mat) 27:57-60 towards evening. Mattiyahu 27:45-46 during the afternoon bread offering. Y’hoshua (Josh) 6:1-16 the shout. Luke 2:4-20 a world changing event that started with just 2 people. B’resheet (Gen) 3:4-6 this world changing event started with failure to believe the word. Mattiyahu (Mat) 2:1-3 a few years later adding to the world changing event. 1 Kefa (Peter) 4:17 a world changing event.

Exo 12:1  Adonai spoke to Moshe and Aharon in the land of Egypt; he said, 

Exo 12:2  "You are to begin your calendar with this month; it will be the first month of the year for you. 

Exo 12:3  Speak to all the assembly of Isra'el and say, 'On the tenth day of this month, each man is to take a lamb or kid for his family, one per household— 

Exo 12:4  except that if the household is too small for a whole lamb or kid, then he and his next-door neighbor should share one, dividing it in proportion to the number of people eating it. 

Exo 12:5  Your animal must be without defect, a male in its first year, and you may choose it from either the sheep or the goats. 

Exo 12:6  " 'You are to keep it until the fourteenth day of the month, and then the entire assembly of the community of Isra'el will slaughter it at dusk. 

Sh’mot (Ex) 12:6-17 kills the 1^st born.

Mat 27:15  It was the governor's custom during a festival to set free one prisoner, whomever the crowd asked for. 

Mat 27:16  There was at that time a notorious prisoner being held, named Yeshua Bar-Abba. 

Mat 27:17  So when a crowd had gathered, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to set free for you? Bar-Abba? or Yeshua, called 'the Messiah'?" 

 

Mattiyahu (Mat) 27:57-60 towards evening.

Mat 27:57  Towards evening, there came a wealthy man from Ramatayim named Yosef, who was himself a talmid of Yeshua. 

Mat 27:58  He approached Pilate and asked for Yeshua's body, and Pilate ordered it to be given to him. 

Mat 27:59  Yosef took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen sheet, 

Mat 27:60  and laid it in his own tomb, which he had recently had cut out of the rock. After rolling a large stone in front of the entrance to the tomb, he went away.

Mattiyahu 27:45-46 during the afternoon bread offering.

Mat 27:45  From noon until three o'clock in the afternoon, all the Land was covered with darkness. Mat 27:46  At about three, Yeshua uttered a loud cry, "Eli! Eli! L'mah sh'vaktani? (My God! My God! Why have you deserted me?)"

The site grew to 40,000 square meters (430,000 square feet) and was surrounded by a stone wall 3.6 meters (11.8 feet) high and 1.8 meters (5.9 feet) wide at the base. Inside the wall was a stone tower 8.5 meters (28 feet) high and 9 meters (30 feet) wide at the base.

Jos 6:21  They completely destroyed everything in the city with the sword—men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys. 

 

Luke 2:4-20 a world changing event that started with just 2 people.

Luk 2:7  and she gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him in cloth and laid him down in a feeding trough, because there was no space for them in the living-quarters.

Gen 3:6  When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it had a pleasing appearance and that the tree was desirable for making one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her; and he ate.

1Pe 4:17  For the time has come for the judgment to begin. It begins with the household of God; and if it starts with us, what will the outcome be for those who are disobeying God's Good News?—

Ref. Isa 61:1  The Spirit of Adonai Elohim is upon me, because Adonai has anointed me to announce good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted; to proclaim freedom to the captives, to let out into light those bound in the dark;
