SYNOPSIS: When going to war you need to be fully equipped. If you do not have the proper equipment and the right training you will be killed. Does GOD tell believers to go to war? Should we even train for war? Should we even be thinking about war? What do the Scriptures say on this topic? Should the pulpit even speak of these matters? Today we are going to seek the Scriptures on this very important subject.

HOLD PLACE AND LET US GO AND SEE THE LOFR FOR SIN

B’resheet (Gen) 4:6-8 first reference to sin.

B’resheet (Gen) 18:20-21 this sin is a plague on society. It causes everyone who has this disease to die.

Gen 18:20  YEHOVAH said, "The outcry against S'dom and `Amora is so great and their sin so serious 

Gen 18:21  that I will now go down and see whether their deeds warrant the outcry that has reached me; if not, I will know." 

 

D’varim (Deut) 28:9 all Scripture is God-breathed to separate us.

Deu 28:9  "YEHOVAH will establish you as a people separated out for himself, as he has sworn to you—if you will observe the mitzvot of YEHOVAH your God and follow his ways.

B’resheet (Gen) 6:5 their thoughts were not righteous.

Gen 6:5  YEHOVAH saw that the people on earth were very wicked, that all the imaginings of their hearts were always of evil only. 

 

1^st Chronicles (1 Chr)28:9 HE knows your thoughts.

1Ch 28:9  "As for you, Shlomo my son, know the God of your father. Serve him wholeheartedly and with desire in your being; for YEHOVAH searches all hearts and understands all the inclinations of people's thoughts. If you seek him, he will let himself be found by you; but if you abandon him, he will reject you forever.
