951 THE SOUND OF FREEDOM

 

SYNOPSIS: Is the bible really from GOD? Do the Gentiles really have to follow the commandments? There is a true story movie that came out on the 4^th of July, called “The Sound of Freedom”. It is a movie about a man who is going out and finding many children that have been abducted. Children that have been sold into slavery. Children that have been sold as sex slaves. Children that have been sold to pedophiles. Why is GOD allowing this to happen to thousand a thousands of children? Does HE not love them? Today we are going to study what the real sound of freedom is all about.

Jer 24:1  It was after N'vukhadretzar king of Bavel had carried Y'khanyahu the son of Y'hoyakim, king of Y'hudah, along with the leaders of Y'hudah, the artisans and the skilled workers into exile from Yerushalayim and brought them to Bavel, that YEHOVAH gave me a vision. There, in front of the temple of YEHOVAH, two baskets of figs were placed.

D’varim (Deut) 28:32 second promise.

Deu 28:32  Your sons and daughters will be handed over to another people; you will watch for them longingly all day but not see them; and there will be nothing you can do about it. 

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 5:1-8 Pharaoh does not care.

 

 

Exo 5:2  But Pharaoh replied, "Who is YEHOVAH, that I should obey when he says to let Isra'el go? I don't know YEHOVAH, and I also won't let Isra'el go." 

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 7:8-13 they still don’t believe.

Exo 7:8  YEHOVAH said to Moshe and Aharon, 

Exo 7:9  "When Pharaoh says to you, 'Perform a miracle,' tell Aharon to take his staff and throw it down in front of Pharaoh, so that it can become a snake." 

Exo 7:10  Moshe and Aharon went in to Pharaoh and did this, as YEHOVAH had ordered—Aharon threw down his staff in front of Pharaoh and his servants, and it turned into a snake. 

Exo 7:11  But Pharaoh in turn called for the sages and sorcerers; and they too, the magicians of Egypt, did the same thing, making use of their secret arts. 

Exo 7:12  Each one threw his staff down, and they turned into snakes. But Aharon's staff swallowed up theirs. 

Exo 7:13  Nevertheless, Pharaoh was made hardhearted; and he didn't listen to them, as YEHOVAH had said would happen. 

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 7:20-23 the blood.

Exo 7:20  Moshe and Aharon did exactly what YEHOVAH had ordered. He raised the staff and, in the sight of Pharaoh and his servants, struck the water in the river; and all the water in the river was turned into blood. 

Exo 7:21  The fish in the river died, and the river stank so badly that the Egyptians couldn't drink its water. There was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. 

Exo 7:22  But the magicians of Egypt did the same with their secret arts, so that Pharaoh was made hardhearted and didn't listen to them, as YEHOVAH had said would happen. 

Exo 7:23  Pharaoh just turned and went back to his palace, without taking any of this to heart. 

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 7:26-27 more signs but nobody cares yet.

Exo 7:26  YEHOVAH said to Moshe, "Go in to Pharaoh and say to him, 'Here is what YEHOVAH says: "Let my people go, so that they can worship me. 

Exo 7:27  If you refuse to let them go, I will strike all your territory with frogs. 

Exo 7:28  The river will swarm with frogs. They will go up, enter your palace and go into your bedroom, onto your bed. They will enter the houses of your servants and your people and go into your ovens and kneading bowls. 

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 8:12-14 still will not yield.

Sh’mot (Ex) 9:2-7 Pharaoh and his lands are being destroyed.

Exo 9:2  If you refuse to let them go and persist in holding on to them, 

Exo 9:3  the hand of YEHOVAH is on your livestock in the field—on the horses, donkeys, camels, cattle and flocks—and will make them suffer a devastating illness. 

Exo 9:4  But YEHOVAH will distinguish between Egypt's and Isra'el's livestock—nothing belonging to the people of Isra'el will die." ' " 

Exo 9:5  YEHOVAH determined the exact time by saying, "Tomorrow YEHOVAH will do this in the land." 

Exo 9:6  The following day, YEHOVAH did it—all the livestock of Egypt died; but not one of the animals belonging to the people of Isra'el died. 

Exo 9:7  Pharaoh investigated and found that not even one of the animals of the people of Isra'el had died. Nevertheless, Pharaoh's heart remained stubborn, and he didn't let the people go. 

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 12:29-30 the children are paying for the sins of their parents. Perfect second commandment fulfillment.

Exo 12:30  Pharaoh got up in the night, he, all his servants and all the Egyptians; and there was horrendous wailing in Egypt; for there wasn't a single house without someone dead in it. 

 

2 Chronicles 7:12-14 this is all you need to do in spirit and truth.

2Ch 7:12  YEHOVAH appeared to Shlomo by night and said to him, "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice. 

2Ch 7:13  If I shut up the sky, so that there is no rain; or if I order locusts to devour the land; or if I send an epidemic of sickness among my people; 

2Ch 7:14  then, if my people, who bear my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.
