975 If we can’t see GOD

how can we prove HE is there?

 

BIBLE: Yochanan (Jn) 8:12 I AM the light.

SYNOPSIS: For today’s lesson we are going to study the light. What is so important about the light? Is there light that cannot be seen? Is that different then light that is seen? What is so important about the invisible GOD? If you have a problem in your body can a certain light fix it? Can a certain frequency of light be better than others? What did YESHUA really mean when HE said I AM the light of the world? Is it necessary to plug into the light? Why was YESHUA able to walk on water, does this have anything to do with light?

Joh 8:12  Yeshua spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world; whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light which gives life." 

 

LIGHT: G5457 φῶς phōs Thayer Definition: 1) light 2) emitted by a lamp 3) a heavenly light such as surrounds angels when they appear on earth 4) fire because it is light and sheds light 5) metaphorically: of truth and its knowledge, together with the spiritual purity associated with it 6) that which is exposed to the view of all, openly, publicly 7) the power of understanding especially moral and spiritual truth

 

Ref. Gen 4:7  If you are doing what is good, shouldn't you hold your head high? And if you don't do what is good, sin is crouching at the door—it wants you, but you can rule over it."

Luke 4:5-13 was this real or just a metaphor?

Luk 4:5  The Adversary took him up, showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world, Luk 4:6  and said to him, "I will give you all this power and glory. It has been handed over to me, and I can give it to whomever I choose. Luk 4:7  So if you will worship me, it will all be yours." 

Luk 4:8  Yeshua answered him, "The Tanakh says, 'Worship Adonai your God and serve him only.' " Luk 4:9  Then he took him to Yerushalayim, set him on the highest point of the Temple and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, jump from here! Luk 4:10  For the Tanakh says, 'He will order his angels to be responsible for you and to protect you. Luk 4:11  They will support you with their hands, so that you will not hurt your feet on the stones.' " 

Luk 4:12  Yeshua answered him, "It also says, 'Do not put Adonai your God to the test.' " Luk 4:13  When the Adversary had ended all his testings, he let him alone until an opportune time.

DEEP: H8415 תּהם / תּהום tehôm BDB Definition: 1) deep, depths, deep places, abyss, the deep, sea 2) abyss, the grave

Luk 24:28  They approached the village where they were going. He made as if he were going on farther; 

Luk 24:29  but they held him back, saying, "Stay with us, for it's almost evening, and it's getting dark." So he went in to stay with them. 

Luk 24:30  As he was reclining with them at the table, he took the matzah, made the b'rakhah, broke it and handed it to them. 

Luk 24:31  Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. But he became invisible to them.

Ephesians 6:11-12 we fight where.

Eph 6:11  Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary. 

Eph 6:12  For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. 

 

Ref. Mat 21:21  Yeshua answered them, "Yes! I tell you, if you have trust and don't doubt, you will not only do what was done to this fig tree; but even if you say to this mountain, 'Go and throw yourself into the sea!' it will be done.
