1009 What is your purpose

 

Scripture: B’resheet (Gen) 1:14-19 what is there purpose.

SYNOPSIS: Everything in YEHOVAH’S house has a purpose. Everything in the heavens has a purpose. The sun, the moon and the stars all have incredible eternal purposes. Everything in the water has a purpose. Every fish and every grain of sand. Everything that fly’s above the earth has a purpose. Every single winged creator from the smallest bug to the biggest bird. Everything on the land has a purpose. Every tree, every flower, every blade of grass and animal. If all those thing have a purpose, do man and woman? Do you know what your purpose is? Let us look at the divine purpose of man and woman.

BIBLE VERSES: B’resheet (Gen) 1:14-19 what is there purpose. Sh’mot (Ex) 25:8-9 so that I may live among them. Sh’mot (Ex) 25:10 the most holiest object…special purpose. Sh’mot (Ex) 25:23, 31, 30:1, 27:1, 29:4. Yesha’yahu (Isa) 53:1-12 this very special purpose. Vayikra (Lev) 7:1-2 the guilt offering. Yesha’yahu (Isa) 53:2-10. Shoftim (Judges) 13:1-8 the purpose for your life can change at any moment. Luke 1:26-38 she was not looking for this but the purpose for her life changed eternity. Shoftim (Judges) 13:5-8.

Gen 1:14  God said, "Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to divide the day from the night; let them be for signs, seasons, days and years; 

 

SIGNS: H226 אות 'ôth BDB Definition: 1) sign, signal 2) a distinguishing mark 3) remembrance 4) omen 5) warning

 

Ref. Mat 24:29  "But immediately following the trouble of those times, the sun will grow dark, the moon will stop shining, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in heaven will be shaken. Mat 24:30  "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, all the tribes of the Land will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with tremendous power and glory. 

 

SEASONS: H4150 מועדה / מעד / מועד mô‛êd / mô‛êd / mô‛âdâh BDB Definition: 1) appointed place, appointed time, meeting 2) sacred season, set feast, appointed season

 

Gen 1:19  So there was evening, and there was morning, a fourth day. 

 

Gen 1:19  ויהי־ערב ויהי־בקר יום רביעי׃ 

Sh’mot (Ex) 25:8-9 so that I may live among them.

Exo 25:8  "They are to make me a sanctuary, so that I may live among them. 

Exo 25:9  You are to make it according to everything I show you—the design of the tabernacle and the design of its furnishings. This is how you are to make it. 

Sh’mot (Ex) 25:10 the most holiest object…special purpose.

Exo 25:10  "They are to make an ark of acacia-wood three-and-three-quarters feet long, two-and-a-quarter feet wide and two-and-a-quarter feet high. 

 

Exo 25:23  "You are to make a table of acacia-wood three feet long, eighteen inches wide and eighteen inches high.  

Purpose ref. Gen_3:19  You will eat bread by the sweat of your forehead till you return to the ground—for you were taken out of it: you are dust, and you will return to dust."

 

Exo 25:31  "You are to make a menorah of pure gold. It is to be made of hammered work; its base, shaft, cups, ring of outer leaves and petals are to be of one piece with it. 

 

Exo 30:1  "You are to make an altar on which to burn incense; make it of acacia-wood. 

 

Ref. Exo 30:7  Aharon will burn fragrant incense on it as a pleasing aroma every morning; he is to burn it when he prepares the lamps. 

 

Exo 27:1  "You are to make the altar of acacia-wood, seven-and-a-half feet long and seven-and-a-half feet wide—the altar is to be square and four-and-a-half feet high.

 

Ref. Gen 8:20  Noach built an altar to YEHOVAH. Then he took from every clean animal and every clean bird, and he offered burnt offerings on the altar. Gen 8:21  YEHOVAH smelled the sweet aroma, and YEHOVAH said in his heart, "I will never again curse the ground because of humankind, since the imaginings of a person's heart are evil from his youth; nor will I ever again destroy all living things, as I have done. Gen 8:22  So long as the earth exists, sowing time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease." 

 

Exo 29:4  "Bring Aharon and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting, and wash them with water. 

 

Yesha’yahu (Isa) 53:1-12 this very special purpose

Isa 53:10  yet it pleased YEHOVAH to crush him with illness, to see if he would present himself as a guilt offering. If he does, he will see his offspring; and he will prolong his days; and at his hand YEHOVAH's desire will be accomplished.

Vayikra (Lev) 7:1-2 the guilt offering.

Lev 7:1  'Now this is the law of the guilt offering; it is most holy. 

Lev 7:2  'In the place where they slay the burnt offering they are to slay the guilt offering, and he shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

Ref. Mat 9:12  But Yeshua heard the question and answered, "The ones who need a doctor aren't the healthy but the sick. 

 

Ref. Joh 12:40  "He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they do not see with their eyes, understand with their hearts, and do t'shuvah, so that I could heal them."

PLEASED: H2654 חפץ châphêts BDB Definition: to delight in, take pleasure in, desire, be pleased with

 

Shoftim (Judges) 13:1-8 the purpose for your life can change at any moment.

Jdg 13:5  For indeed you will conceive and bear a son. No razor is to touch his head, because the child will be a nazir for God from the womb. Moreover, he will begin to rescue Isra'el from the power of the P'lishtim."

Luk 1:27  to a virgin engaged to a man named Yosef, of the house of David; the virgin's name was Miryam. Luk 1:28  Approaching her, the angel said, "Shalom, favored lady! YEHOVAH is with you!" Luk 1:29  She was deeply troubled by his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
