P001 The Aleph & The Tav
Rev 1:8 "I am the 'Aleph' and the 'Tav,' " says Adonai, God of heaven's armies, the One who is, who was and who is coming.

Rev 1:12 I turned around to see who was speaking to me; and when I had turned, I saw seven gold menorahs;
Rev 1:13 and among the menorahs was someone like a Son of Man, wearing a robe down to his feet and a gold band around his chest.
This is Yeshua speaking to Yochanan the talmid (disciple). A Jew speaking to another Jew. Yeshua spoke in Hebrew. So when He spoke to Yochanan He used terminology that Yochanan would understand. Yochanan would not be reading the words of Paul to the Corinthians. The Newer Testament had not been written. So why use this curious phrase I AM the Aleph & the Tav? What would it mean to a Jew and what should it mean to us today? The key to this understanding is verse 12 & 13. It points you to the first book of the Scriptures Beresheet (Genesis) in this mini message given to our sister congregation in the Philippines we will look at the Aleph & the Tav.
